Monitoring Natural Cycle (TSI)
A safe and effective method of assisted reproduction is artificial maturation of the eggs in the laboratory. Immature eggs, without having been induced by the ovaries are recovered from the ovaries. The taking of medications, such as gonadotropins, something that this progress restricts, have potential side effects and hide dangers such as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
An different method of IVF is natural cycle and artificial ovulation. Ideal for patients with a high risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, or polycystic ovary, whether or not combined with a small ovarian condition.
NATURAL CYCLE or STIMULATED IVF CYCLE?
The greatest advantage of the natural cycle monitoring is that no medication is required (unless there is a problem). The downside of the Natural Circle is the possibility of an early rupture of the follicle or an anovulation. The chance of this occuring are higher when a patient has been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
DISADVANTAGES OF THE PROGRAM
Inability to monitor fertilization is the greatest disadvantage of TSI. It happens after ovulation in the fallopian tubes. In addition, there is no major increase in the percentage of pregnancy achieved in couples. The psychological disadvantage that couples experience with TSI is another thing to consider since it includes a programmed intercourse.
